thats for the info guys, i really find myself somehow hitting the snare faster than the tom which i think id due to the rebound

hmm does the weight of the sticks affects the speed? like lighter = faster? or heavy more rebound = faster?

Tony Royster Jr. on developing speed.

mostly i practise singles for one minute at each speed with metal sticks. then after that when you pick up light sticks, woohoo. your speed is at least almost a level higher. not say guarantee, but it works for me. i think basically just practise like mad. everytime i practise i start from half my max speed to warm up, then i continue all the way up and try to get faster at the max. but basically just practise all rudiments with speed increments each time.
yeah.

Mr Tony Royster Jr basically said he practices singles, doubles and paradiddles for speed. Moellar motion he practices consists of a whip, tap and upstroke motion. yup that's what the vid's about, penko:) hope it helped!:D

thank you man!!

i did a bit of search on moeller thingy, its really a stunning stroke :D

don't get to moeller to fast yet! to me you should train doubles first. get the tempo right. at 180, 190, 200 and so on. the beat must be crsip or you will get a bigger problem on the moeller.

joshie i don't think the moeller is affected by how pro your doubles are. it's just the whip stroke for accents. and it's really useful.
