Almost brand new, never been used, taylor 214 ce with taylor hardshell bag for 1,300 SGD .
Versatility plays front and center on this rosewood laminate, between the Grand Auditorium body, cutaway and plug-in-and-play readiness of Taylor’s ES-T pickup.
The Taylor 14 is a modestly priced, solid-wood guitar with exceptional tonal qualities and resonance like those of a premium acoustic guitar. A real Taylor but of incredible value to boot! It’s solid Sapele body, Sitka spruce top, and ebony fretboard and bridge makes the solid-wood experience more accessible than ever.
The tone on this guitar is incredible. If you play a chord, you hear all the nuances of it, rather than just the bass and some middle like on Martins. The sound is a beautiul mixture of full rich bass and just enough treble to cut through, without being unpleasant. It’s good enough for players of folk, rock, blues.
The action on the guitar is low and easy to play, the intonation is nice and clean, too. The fretwires are set in the fretboard with room allowed for wood swelling due to humidity. The finish on the Taylor 214ce is perfectly adequate and just what you’d expect on a guitar of this price.
It has great tone, great action, great versitility, great balance, it’s easy to change the strings, has two access points for the truss rod and a more than adequate bridge – an all round great guitar. It even sounds better than some of the $2,400 Martins -that’ll please any fan or would be owner of the taylor,
