Tama soprano help !!!

Hi guys,

I m thinking of buying a TAMA SOPRANO snare 12 inch. And its a metal one.

I was just wonderin wad kind of sound does the snare give off ? I like a snare to give off a BIANG BIANG sound. Like hitting metal. And is $250 for a second hand one worth it ?
