Just asking about the sale ....
what time do you guys normally start queing and how long actually before actually getting in to see the products , since its a pretty crowded affair ? it'll be my first time to the sale this year so actually kinda getting myself prepared ...

erm i heard it's a 50% off sale ? is it true ?
 
Normally the queue start early morning. Unless your are a MFO member, you will get to go in first, about an hour before the sale is open to all.
 
i will be there a least a week in advance to do a list of things of gettin ...
definetly take note of the prices then to the prices for the sale ..


upcoming sale ? EOY ? doin my homework haha ..

Applying as a member is a waste of money. You pay hundreds of dollars for like... 1 sale every year? You actually spend more than you save. Swee Lee's stuff are overpriced in my opinion, and the only time worth buying their stuff is during the sale, which i'd rather not wait for as most of the good items would be taken. I'll just ship stuff from overseas, better prices.
 
Uh, it's actually 2 sales. That's why you share with a friend so you pay 50 bucks each cause MFO members are allowed to bring a friend during the sale.
The queue thing isn't the same each time.
I've been for 3 sales. I once went to bras basah at 8pm the day before the sale and the line was already at Ranking. And the other time, i went at 6am on the day of the sales and i was the second in the line. So it really depends...If you have the patience, then wait.
 
why swee lee sale , when blackwood has a sale everyday. The prices there are lower than anywhere outside

that's exactly what i'm thinking about ... my motive for this sale is to try to get a deluxe MIA stratocaster under $1100 or some other standard strats .
 
sry for hijacking TS thread, is the citymusic year end sale started already?? the items listed on their website under the hot deals section isit the brochure for the 08 yr end sale ? thankyou

The past sales have great bargains but to get a MIA strat under the price of $1100 is almost...impossible. Unless its a MIM.
 
yeah, the sale is at sims drive. the factory.

unless they have sales over at bras basah as well. but i don't think so, unless im wrong.
 
There would not be any sale in the Bras Brasah showroom anymore. This is due to the complains from the shops there. The queue affect their business.
