cheap? i'm sorry did u mean PRICE as in $$$ cheap? as in their items are priced low? seriously? they're actually ripping us off quite abit... how else are they able to hold so many 50% sales and not feel the pinch?

sure they are, every business has to profit!
but still when you look at it, where else in singapore can we get such low prices during their sales?

key-tars? like the one ben romans used in the click five's video for catch your wave? it would be amusing if we actually saw one in singapore.

sweelee's stuffs are kinda overpriced.thats why when u buy an item there,u need to ask about a 20% discount.cause every thing there they will give u 20% discount.

if not,u will have to pay the full price.

and also if buy guitar,u try asking for free gifts and if the guitar comes with a hardcase and if u dun want it,u can tell them u dun want it and the price will be lowe.that is wad i heard.

and yes the customer service.oh my god.my friend enquired about the tama iron cobra double pedals.until now he hasn't gotten any reply.

i already saw one in penin plaza..

o that one... ic thx i'll go check it out :D

and i still think swee lee is at least 20% overpriced, even after "discount"

swee lee's customer service sure have some big problem... they need to do sumting about it before they lose their customers...

i jus head down to swee lee bras basah yst. it was quite good actually. i feel altogether satisfied. ooh, I tried the SAS32FM & it sounded realli awesome with its stock pickups.

List price : $1000

Check it out!!

i'd prefer they remain small.

a big company takes more people to run. u dont get "personalized service", the kind u get when u go to small shops bcuz they'll recognise valuable customers and identify them. big companies just want to grow in $. small companies want to grow in popularity hence the special service quality.

davis is awesome so far i think, even tho the service isn't consistent especially with their part time staff. but o well, there's janet for all the guys, aye? lol.

i do hope guitar 77 expands abit more :D they're doing a great job so far!

and if a company becomes very big, they sort of monopolise the market. like wat i learn in econs, since they're big firm, they sort of control the price of goods.

and soon these small shops will become big and they become businessmen not musicians so we'll have shitty services all over again...

the service in sim drive's swee lee not bad lah, auctually. not like brasbasha swee lee. the way the lady boss and adam handle the service makes me blind with killer rage.
they treat ppl like dirt. worn't even let ppl try the guitars sometimes. why? fingerprints. lame!
worse still, the prices are 8O
about twice the standard market price. so think about it. queing overnight and getting pissed off with q cutters just to get your gear in the more or less standard market price? just not worth it...
also, most of their guitars are poorly maintained. scratches, rusting hardware and twisted necks? you can't sell guitars like that that's cheating customers!
