hey guys... i went for treatment under a referral from my camp MO (hahah army help pay all cost). i was refered to National Skin Centre. well... bascially there are 4 types of treatment.
1) using Driclor. its a roll on that stops ur from sweating.
2) Ionto blah blah. its just soaking ur hands or feet into medicated solution with current passing thru it. not painful but abit numbing initially.
3) Botox injection. PAIN.
4) last resort surgery.
well im trying method 1 and 2 now... will have treatment 2 every week (can siam camp). will post results after a few weeks later.
yea... having free treatments now at NSC.
the ionto treatment is indeed very effective. have gone on for like 4 days without sweating much. but 1 side effect is that ur throat will become very dry so need to drink loads of water.
i have sweaty palms but i never found it a problem when playing guitars except for my pick selection, i cant use the gloss plastic ones instead the ( idunnowhat finishyoucallit) pick.
also i find trouble playing if im feeling cold. haha i dunno why.
