how does the jamming work? Is there pre-registration or can we just bring our gear down and jam?

Hi,

A jam is usually hosted by a resident band who plays 1 set, then we'll call up musicians or "jammers" to the stage 1 or 2 at a time to jam. If you have a whole band arriving, the whole band can be called up to do a song or two. It keeps rotating. The person. who keeps the general order would be the jam master.

There is no so-called pre-registration prior to the event. Just inform the Jam Master during the event and he'll make the necessary arrangements. So yup, just bring your gear down.
