Just did a major upgrade to my first guitar, the Ibanez Gio, changed tuners to sperzel locking tuners, bone nut, changed pots, change bridge and neck pup.

But now i feel like 'relic'-ing it or personalising it! Stuck some stickers on it alr, but some of them dont really go well. Any suggestions?

haha. I have Jet city, ehx, lollar and Z.vex stickers on it alr. Ironically I don't use ANY of those brands. hehe

Relic? If your parents/you/friends have car, tie to the back and drive on the road. Of course not highway la. It works but may not be how you want it...
Alternatively, there are ways and means to relic. Handsaw (blunt side) on the edges work well w/o all the ugly scratches. Course, this is unpro. Want pro method got a lot of chemical all that.

Ok decide not to go with the 'relic'ing but rather to personalise it. Changed the 2 silver knobs to one white 'volume' knob and white 'tone' knob for that more classic look. More usable also.

Why do people want to prematurely relic their guitars, i mean playing it long and hard enough does the job in the long run, but if you want ideas you could you sandpaper to remove the lacquer coat and then the paint but you would need some elbow grease though.

Please refer to my post just before yours. Looking for ways to personalise. not relic.

Not true. Poly finished guitars will not age the same way as nitro finished guitars.
