also, is dere any good string care lotion to intro?

Maybe you could try the DR coated strings? The ones that come in Red, blue and black. They have this anti rust coat. Lasts quite a while.

I wanted to try those - then I got to the store and found out they are $18 a pack.

You can buy two packs of regular strings that might end up lasting longer than a set of coated for the same price. Who knows? :)

+1

I tried a pack of Black Diamond Coated Strings from Davis at $15 (supposed to last quite long) but the coating came off after 10-15 times of playing (mostly during jamming sessions). I almost cried.

Are they bendy cause i am learning Clapton songs

The ones i tried were the red ones. It did flake a little, but that was after a LONG time of playing, and only at small spots. Hmm, the bends work for me on that, but i still prefer the feel of regular uncoated strings. Give it a shot, it's worth testing out at least once.

How much again?

About 18 a pack i think. It's quite expensive :(

i've probably tried most of the major string manufacturers including Elixirs, DR Red Devils, Black Diamonds, Dean Markley Blue Steels, Ernie Balls (everything from Hybrids to Super Slinkys), GHS Sub Zeros, Boomers, D'Addario, Fender, Gibson, etc.

my favourite strings of all time are Everly B52 Bombers, but they're not available in singapore, so when i run out of Everlys i use DRs, 9 gauge, and use the DR String protector fluid stuff on them to lengthen the lifespan. it's good stuff. my strings generally last me about 2 months or so, sometimes longer, with fairly frequent playing. the Red Devils were actually pretty good, but i can get about the same life or longer using the string protector fluid and standard DR strings, so i just stick to that.

I think Elixirs are excellent strings! They have the polycoat and the nanoweb. I prefer the nanoweb ones, the polycoat ones have a lil' weird slimy feel to me which irks me. They do last a lot longer for $20+, but I'd rather buy like 4packs of GHS Boomers and change regularly. I don't know if you guys feel the same way but strings may last longer but intonation is only good with fresh strings.

4 packs of GHS Boomer sounds good, but changing strings on a floyd rose guit for a new lyk me = gone case!!
