Strings through body or bridge?

I have just gotten a Lakland 55-02 recently and noticed it allows strings-through body or bridge. To the bros that are experienced in this area, what are the pros and cons for string through body and through bridge?

strings thru body is likely to give u more sustain

but i find it extremely high tension. so it may be suitable if you want your low b string to be tight.

I watched a video of Sterling Ball talking about this issue before, he says it doensn't make much of a difference to the sound. either way is fine
