Strat Bridge Question

Hi all,

Just wanna ask about the bridge on my strat. Right now it's set up with 5 springs and the bridge is 'clamped' down on the body. But when I bend a string when playing some chords, like in ACDC's Back in Black ( The part where the singer goes 'hey hey hey hey hey') the other strings still go out of tune slightly, but noticeably. Is tightening the claw under bridge in this case advisable? Is there such a thing as overtightening where the bridge clamps down so hard that it damages the body's finish?

Yes i think so, you can damage the guitar wood.

you could put 3 strings and install a Tremel-No and put it on HardTail mode
