stock pickups

any of you ever encountered stock pickups that sound incredibly great..??
i'm suprised at what my TGM humbucker is capable of..tone and all..

yeah i used to like my old bc rich stock pickups.....before the new NJ series and all that.....the PUs were covered.....and it sounded ok until i changed to EMGs....that's when i knew how stock pickups sounded like... :wink:

talking about BC rich- i own one Body Art Ironbird model which has superb default humbucker IMO, wouldn't swap it ever...

i wouldnt change the stock pickups on my yamaha SG, sounds very good

My yamaha alnico neck pickup on my AES620 is incredibly good... :lol:

I wouldn't want to change the stock pick up of my Yamaha YG model.Although this is an "ancient" model,they have served me well through these years.This has been my main axe and have lots of sentimental value to me. :smt023

i'm not too BC Rich inclined. the reason why i got this ironbird body art series was because i needed a one pickup guitar & it so happened that this one really has some crushing tones in there... 8)
