This is Indonesian made Sterling Ray 35.
If you are looking for bass like musician 5st this is the affordable version and sound is pretty much the same as US musician stingray 5.
I am selling this bass because I am planning to purchase 6 string bass so that I need to sell this one.
In my personal opinion this bass is good for those who likes RHCP and rock music, because power of pick up is quite strong. Also very good for poping and slapping.
[Personal review]
1. Neck -- Maintain good condition but don't use heavy gauge strings, if so it may be difficult to control neck condition.
2. Body --- Swamp ash body a bit heavy ash.
3. Pick ups --- original pick ups. a bit loud
4. Preamp --- Honestly it is not so great. boost and cut function is not strong enough. so If you need to control sound you need to use outer pre amp. For me I just boost up treble a bit then control tone by volume and finger.
5.Nobs --- a bit rusty.
6.Pegs --- Honestly a bit cheap, but it does work.
