try ultimate ears. go to some ear specialist. get a wax mould. send to ultimate ears and voila. expect to pay about 1k though. you can go to hung brothers at sim lim for more info

I read somewhere on another forum, some drummers use the normal/cheap in-ear earphones, den use a head phone on top of it. Playing the music through the in-ear earphones. they say it helps alot in isolating the noise.

Sounds uncomfortable to me though.
