Starting Drums & Requiring Assistance

Hey guys! I plan to start learning drums after As this year but need some recommendations for a drumset. I live in a HDB so I don't think an acoustic kit would be very feasible so I was thinking of an electronic kit. Anyone can help me? )

Yamaha DTX is a great set ... but cheaper options like Roland and Medeli do justice if you're starting out too.

I was thinking of Roland TD 4KX because of the types of pads for the snare and toms. Do you know how good the hi hats are though? Cause my friend was complaining about how his DTXplorer hi hat can't close halfway...

If i were you i would still get acoustic set. I live in HDB too. Just learn how to muffle your kit properly and do some DIY sound reduction. Acoustic kits are still the best for learning cos u need to learn how to tune and to control how hard u hit. Not to mention a good acoustic kit is about 30% cheaper than an average electronic kit.
