Not sure about the SR-803,but i own a SR-200 and its pretty good.Standard Value has many other great affordable guitars. My advice would be to try the SR-803 in the shop and also compare them with the other timbres or any other affordable guitars in the shop.

Its a very affordable and a good entry level guitar. You can try the Smash guitars also if you are there ;)

its beyond my budget. hahas thanks anyway. but if i were supposed to be there i'll give it a shot!

When u upgrade, do consider the Marlique guitars also available in SV, i love the tone and sustain. The paintjobs are sexy too!

Heres the url on the SX package, the GG1k.Costs $199 at davis.Davis also has other sx packages like the strat copy package, same price too. This is the other guitars by SX,not sure if Davis has all of them though.

if you are looking for something splendid in terms of QC & tone, the SMASH guitars should be considered (highly recommended, but no packaged deals thusfar):

the sx pakage looks cheap but my friend said that the timbre guitar is better. hmm

SX guitars are not bad actually, compared it with my timbre and a fren's sx,timbre sounds better in clean IMO.The best thing you can do is to head to SV to compare the SMASH and Timbre or you can also head down to Davis to try out their SX.
