squier tele/strat?

hey,hi,does anyone know how much a regular squier tele or strat would cost?cos i'm thinking of getting one of those after i get my christmas money.buying frm peninsula plaza.my max budget for the guitar,strap,amp,and gig bag is $480.$500 if some unexpected relatives drop by and give me cash..so yeah,i'm only sec 1,don't think i'm some bonified cheapskate for only putting in 400 plus for my gear..thanks

better get a good guitar in my opinion....get an ok amp like the marshall mg series.....u wont be able to carry ur full stack amp to a gig but u can always carry ur precious axe anywhere.....maybe that's just me

But ppl always say that for mostly home users, getting a good amp is better than getting a good guitar. I started learning a few months ago, gotta Timbre and a Vox AD30Vt
