its a slightly non conventional guitar. Consider the below.
Do you like single coil sounds on the neck?
Do you like to switch pickups often during mid song? cos it comes with a rotary 3 position pickup selector and not that intuitive.
Can you live without a Tone knob? cos it doesn't have one.
Most importantly, go down to Swee Lee yourself and and test it out to see if the neck/body/sound fits you.
My opinion... ultra value for money with decent workmanship. Not the BEST workmanship but the fundamentals are OK. Set it up nicely and it can be a chuck and throw around everywhere guitar.
Got it at the Swee Lee sale including a Ritte Jr bag for only $210+

hey... whats wrong with the washburn... i suppose u own a x-10... it pretty damn good... i am using one myself... just some pickup change and u will be set

I say repair the washburn and save a hell lot of money ...
its an x12 btw.i cant repair it because the neck is broken at the bolt there 
.edder hows the sound of the guitar?don't worry i don't use the tone knob at all so i can live with it,and im fine with the pickup switches,i just need a decent strat sound from it.also,with a budget of around 150-250any decent but cheap guitars around this price?i just need a practise guitar with a decent sound.

that's the crucial move you have to make. do try it with an amp that's both good clean & driven.

I'm currently playing it to an ultra crappy treble "enhancer" solid state Fender Bronco. I can't really tell you how it sounds. Its a "testeffectsignalgeneratorwith6strings" for me now till i get a proper tube amp done.
