Because I've heard such sounds before from 'broken' amps and wanted to recreate it. Maybe if I ever use it in any recording I'll post a clip and let you hear how I've put it to use

Just listen to Neil Young and you'll know what ark is talking abt. Most noticebly the openign riff of "Hey Hey,My My".
