Spilt String polish on the floor...help!

Spilled about 1/2 bottle of Dr String Fellow string polish on Paraquet floor. The top of the cap/bottle just broke off! lousy plastic! mopped up using tissue, now area is damn glossy/slippery, any idea what can be used to clean it up? or just leave it....

i spilled once, if i remembered correctly i mopped with soap several times. It was'nt slippery already but left a very smooth finish as if abrasive paper was used.
