sonic edge band

The drummer seems pretty young right...He is Chinese. Where is Sonic from?

Yeah, I'm really impressed with Sonic Edge too. Solid stuff. You can count in me as a fan :D

Where is Sonic Edge from?

Sonic Edge is a non-denominational cutting edge ministry under the covering of Church of Our Saviour, made up of like-minded young people from different churches and backgrounds with a mission and passion to bridge the gap between the church and the unchurched, especially the fringe and modern youth culture.

Music and art play a big part in this ministry, especially those of the alternative genres like rock, hardcore, hip hop and techno, which are cleverly but carefully wielded to reach today's "sight-n-sound" postmodern generation. Sonic Edge hopes to reflect the Father's love to these young people who speak a different language, whether it is at a gig, rave party, pub or in the streets.

Sonic Edge cell groups meet every Wednesday for fellowship and Bible study.

Sonic Edge conducts regular Mission Tour-Trips to neighbouring countries, bringing its brand of alternative worship overseas. It also organises "Sonic Camps" as retreats for its members. Sonic Edge is also responsible for the annual SonicFest, a Christian contemporary and independent music and arts festival.

Sonic Edge is constantly looking out for volunteers who want to serve in this exciting ministry. By maintaining an 'open-platform' concept, anyone can contribute and be involved. For more information, please visit www.sonic-edge.org or its affiliated website at www.awake.com.sg.

Hahaha so they are from Church Of Our Saviour (a Charismatic Church)

Ah so-deska, no wonder Drum hobbyists last time tell me "What so funny that I play Rock - Paster cannot play Rock meh" .... Is this what they call Gospel Music ??? cause I've never know this kind of things?....

But I have the CD "Petra" a friend gave me one....wah very rock one.

Haha... i have a whole collection of Petra albums... a great band... meaningful in lyrics and exellent music arrangements... the band just called it a day last year after 33 years... the drummer played DW and Paiste... 8)

i cannot lah, i did a rock session at byron bay SAE today. wah i almost died man, the songs were sooooo bloody tough. they kept asking me to hit harder and push the song more. after awhile my hands can't even hold the sticks. i said okie sori but i have enough. i feel kinda disappointed in myself really.

Bro someone - are you the drummer opf this Group kekekek ! ... if got time come to our drum exchange on this 29th ok - will be glad to meet you in person.

This is not Mil.. altho i told him to drop by.

its a small scene we got man... i have intermittent memory loss and forgot sequence of events, but i remember some things strongly, like the time john didn't sleep whole night and play guitar, then i bumped into him at roomful of blues (when it was still in macpherson) during lunch. this was before he started awakening... its scary how time flies..... and that we never have enough of it

cheers

issit?! 8O

im very happy for him. i wld like to catch up with him too, the last time we met, it wasnt a good time for us to talk. the last place u want to meet fellow friends is at a funeral service. i may be childish but i hope it doesnt happen again, for a few decades at least. but seeing his around and well is already a good thing.
