We all are music lovers and sang countless numbers of songs in our lives...but how many of you all actually know the meanings behind the songs? or do you guys just sing without even caring wat it actually meant?

your thoughts please...

Quite a few songs now make absolutely no sense at all, so I guess the importance of a song having meaning does not apply any more. Case in point:

There's quite number of websites dedicated to the meanings behind songs. Most of them contributed by fans.

Songs usually have meanings, though some of them have rediculous meanings.
Saosin songs have quite odd meanings to me, though they sound good

quite true i guess, most of the time i dont really bother knowing the meaning towards songs e.g songs of another language too me as long as it sounds good it should be nice however there are songs which most people can relate to at their point of time like creep by radiohead which really has a deep meaning behind it

It's how a person speaks,thinks,interprete,explain,describe,observe,critic,praise,summarise and love the things around them, or others.
So songs do have hidden meanings behind them and its up to the listeners in how they view it.
IMO.
