earth wind and fire is REALLY GOOD! If you listen to the album Avatar, there's this song called 'The Right Time',the bassline is rather basic, but the way he plays it together with the passing notes and the triplets(i think it is) somewhere in the second third chorus and give it a real nice feel! it shows how u can use simple stuff to make it sound good!
