Soloing, Shreding, Tapping and stuff

anybody out there can enlighten me on how to improve in soloing, shreding or tapping?

First thing to do will be to learn your scales.

Choose one, say C Major for starters and learn it over the entire neck.
Break it down into positions (Open/Zeroth fret, 5th, 8th, etc...) and then connect the positions. Play up and down and then mix it all up.

That should keep you busy for a while.

vern any ideas where i can pick up learning the scales cause im a self tot guitarist and will like to noe where i can learn this..

Plenty of scales there for you to learn. Start with the Major and Pentatonic scales (Major and Minor). These scales are two of the most commonly used scales, and once you know them, you can start to solo.
