i suggest starting by doing a re-arranged cover of a standard. funk, rock, jazz, funky 12 bar blues, whatever. something that can go in a loop so that everyone can download the track, and depending on how long they want their solo to go, they can loop the backing track for as many times as they want, then post their solo spot here. then all u need is one person to put each separate track together. shouldn't sound as disjointed as the present soft jam.

i guess the first thing to do from now is to decide on a song, if we're doing a cover, that is.
