I'm curious if any of the drumming SOFT brothers/or sisters play regular gigs? Or any gigs at all?

Would be great if you could post where you're playing, who you're playing with so some of us can pop by to listen and hang out

Cheers :)

Yeah..let us know...we will come and support and cheer you...Kekekeke..and at the same time we can drink and (honestly speaking) check out if there are any beautiful chicks there also mah..sien them abit Wah...the best of both world....... Kekekekeke.

Bro Weckl correct or not.

Bro Weckl...Hehehehehe...come to think of it..old-drummer like me also got some advantage one hor?.....cause I can go to a pub and sien sien abit here & there.....

I wonder if I can bring our little baby brother Joshie inside those places....Hahahahaha cause he is under-age mah... :smt040 :smt040 :smt040

haha im sure places like those allow sixteen year olds? just that i cant buy drinks, but you never know. hahaha

Haha, I remember in my sec 4 year, I did go hang out at Crazy E almost once a month with some older friends. I think as long as you don't 'look' young, nobody will ask to check your ID.

From my past experience, Blues/jazz pubs generally have a more relaxed, 'family' friendly atmosphere, I've seen expats bringing along their kids & wife while they go up and play on Jam Nites.

Hmm... I guess from the looks of the replies, none from the giggers yet?
Or they're not too intent of having us support them

That's why all the "Get-Together" and this one you put up is all about - It's about getting Drummers here to know each other better, and give support to each other in many ways mah...it's about relationship.

I love to hang out around the places that have bands.....the bands are usually our friends, and the chicks are plentiful one.....spend $$$$ neber mind...just must be happy only.....and I use to go 3 times to 4 times a week.....drinking cost me about 10k a year till me wify got angry with me lah...so I cool down a little nowadays...but twice a week...is no problem.

Bro Joshie: - yes you can go places like Crazy Elephant and such...those open area ones... but Disco Places where they got Bar-Top Dancing where the Cha-Bo wearing only panties & bra one - you cannot go in lah...Whahahahahaha :smt040 :smt040 :smt040 unless of course.......I bring along your milk-bottle and blind-fold your eyes..then we lead you in....and also hor - your hand must be hand-cruff..so that you cannot anyhow touch touch here and there lah...Kekekekeke  (no just joking)....

Needless to say - there will be some Drummers here playing in those places eg Disco...but nebermind - we will smuggle you in Bro Joshie..

PS:- Brothers who are giggling - put it up here, so that myself & Bro Weckl can organise get-together like this (drinking session) & (TCSS) Talk-Cock-Sing-Song Session at your venue - we enjoy ourself..you also got the most supporters among your band - SEe we drummers are "ah-ka-liaw" one...always supporting you....

am also a gigging drummer. playing around duxton hill and club street and also sessions. would like to say that yes, i do love crazy e and the blues they do there, especially :D

and as for jazz on south bridge, do make it a point to catch world-experienced jazz drummer, louis soliano/tan, who also co-owns the place. sometimes he and the other owner, who plays the vibes, do a number. they have 'open-mic' musicians such as jacintha. louis soliano's jazz trio is also fantastic. and he's a singing drummer, for jazz man!

Awesome, do give us a headsup when you've got a gig coming
Always wanted to check out the spots in duxton and club street but not too sure where to go.

justaphase

I didn't know louis soliano/tan, also co-owns the place and he actually ... SINGS JAZZ lah. The one playing the vibes is Eddie.

Cheers !
