Yep, I was digging though the storeroom and I found meself a Keyboard. It reads Casio ToneBank CT-670 keyboard, its around 10 years old+ according to my parents but still in good shape.

Is this a good keyboard?

I'm interested in learning the keyboard/piano, so anyone can tell me how to start learning? I'm not interested in taking lessons and prefer to cut cost and learn myself, so resources online would be appreciated. I play the guitar currently, so I know a bit of theory/scales,etc. :)

Thanks for your help!:D

The CT-670 isn't going to sound too realistic but a true musician can make almost anything sound good. It's probably not a bad keyboard to learn and practice on. When it comes to synthesizer sounds, people are pretty sensitive though. What sounded great 15 years ago might sound horribly dated and silly today.

I say start out with the CT-670. If you find that playing keyboards is something that you enjoy and want to spend time doing i'm sure you'll eventually upgrade to something more modern or something more specific.

As for learning to play the keyboard/piano, there are a lot of different opinions. In the end you'll need to figure out what works best for you.
