Smoking in Coffeeshop

1. If a person is not sitting at a non-smoking area, but is standing up and smoking, is that considered an offense?

- to me its not an offense... the ppl at my place coffeshop oso dun care

2. What if there is no more tables in the yellow box, but u just have a smoke and put your hands in the yellow box, is that acceptable?

- cannot la... tis one sounds like a primary school recess time game leh i used to play lol

3. What if you take a chair and move out of the tables and sit there and have smoke?

- i did tat at some places... some ignore me... some tell me cannot

i think having yellow boxes at coffeeshops are outrageous.
its not as if the smoke wont travel OUTSIDE the yellow box.

I think if you're JUST outside the coffee shop premises, they cannot say anything, technically. But you know as a smoker in a public places, you're bound to be on the losing end.

i'm a smoker myself... just wanna share a smoking incident

this happened to me & my buddy quite sometime back... we were having lunch in the smoking area at a coffeeshop..being lunchtime most of the tables are occupied..then came this group of office,educated-looking guys & gals...to their convenience they decided to take the table next to us in the smoking area... apparently none of them smoke,so me & my buddy lit up our ciggies....the group at the table next to us started to complain of the smell & remark that we were being inconsiderate... i bochup so i heck-care but my buddy got irritated & sarcastically asked them..."excuse me, i believe you guys know you all are sitting in the smoking area, so unless you all are smokers,you all are welcome here & if not be my guest & be passive smokers..." that hit them right on the spot....then we purposely blow towards them & they keep gave us the Ch%#-bye face....

to all smokers...if this happened to any of you,don''t be afraid..we,smokers, have to fight for our right...

you got my fullest support.. and ya they (non-smokers) sometimes really give one kinda look when the smoke goes past them or sumthin.. hmm.. well i guess they got the right to do that..
