Anyone got any recommendations on small tube amps for blues, classic rock playing? Although i won't be getting one so soon (maybe in 3 months or less) I'd like to know where to find these little beasts.
So far I only know of the

Epi Valve Jr combo (SL sells them?)
Fender Pro junior (SL)
Fender Blues Jr (SL)
Crate Palomino (where to find??)
Vox Ac15 (city music) < loud?
Carvin Vintage 16 (shop opposite SL BB)

Anyone have recommendations on other amps i should look at?

hmm ok. Up to 650 then. Don't mind going used but tube amps rarely pop up. Keep in mind I won't be getting one this month, maybe in early June after MT o levels ....

its actually kinda hard to get a 1st hand decent tube amp for that price.
you might want to wait for something to pop up at the classifieds

the crate palomino..
cool looking amp...
ebay I think...

For 650 you would only be able to afford the Epi or the Fenders.

You need to do more personal research. Online. Offline. Sound Clips. Technical Specs, details. Whatever. Else you'll regret potentially purchasing something you don't want.

as for fenders, you MIGHT be able to pull of the pro junior, but not the blues junior.

yes the AC15 is loud, its as loud as the ad50vt. but first hand its almost 900.

650 is tight for a tube amp, so dont expect to get tonal nirvana as yet.

theres someone here selling i think. but im not sure of the price

only reason i dont like the valve junior is cause there isnt an amp eq. and i dont really like to use an eq pedal

orange tiny TERROR lol

jk haha - 650 not enuff dough

yea agree with sub, the valbee is good shit

Look for cpt_oreo. I think he still has a modded Epi valve jr for sale and I believe is within your budget. :D

Another option is save a bit more then hit SL sale in june for a Laney LC-15. This thing is pretty loud too.

hmm i got my blues jr 1st hand for almost 700 during one of the fender sale in sl. was darn lucky as it was the last piece...
