it seems that Slipknot's Mick7 has moved to... Ibanez...

Yea he has. I watched em perform live in July this year and he was using an Ibanez alright. James is now using an custom Fender Telecaster as well.

mick came full circle, he didn't quite 'switch'- he started with Ibanez (RG 560), then BC Rich, now back to his initial love...

that Fender Tele is from the Flathead series: active electronics...

BC rich guitars are just SO evil.... but I always have a thrashy image of them.

I use a BC Rich Warlock, it's pretty decent. But I changed my pickups to an EMG 81 set. Mannnn with those two pickups the sound is just so good man. Not to mention I use a GT2 pedal for distortion

when it comes to BC Rich, the shape is a love/ hate factor. i bought an entry level Ironbird which is surprisingly well constructed & has good tones, so i stuck to the default pickups...
