Regarding feel...this is rather subjective. If you have heard buckethead's slower ballad stuff before you would agree with me that he touches people's hearts at a deeper level. For rock he has a more cold and almost robotic-like computer precision that some people are unable to click with.

Slash however strikes more of a common vein since he plays mostly cliche blues-rock phrases that most of us are familiar with, as compared to buckethead and his electic eccentric style. Hence i can see why most readers of this thread prefer Slash but the conclusion is both of them have different styles....and i mean TOTALLY different...so comparing them would be comparing apples to caviar...
