ya.some top schools even have to audition to get in.lol why dont u try some schools that are ranked in terms of middle to nearly top few?

Something like echomusic or what?

wah.. still need audition one ah..

cause i am not very expose to this market..

so other then the echo music u talk about..

is there any other mid range ones ?

they have website i can read ???

www.echomusic.com.sg

If im not wrong, group vocals lesson is around 128 dollars. Group at most 4 people only so not that big. Individual which i am taking now is 198 per month.erm. I'm not sure bout the other midrange school. I do some research then i get back to ya again.

If you are interested in this echo music,i can help you cause im a student there. It's like my 4th month lesson there.

m5 royal quite established la....at least they churned out ppl/band like nick from mi lu bing, silver from 1st season pss, elson soh who has few singles released in sg...

erm, just a note. if you look carefully in M5's site...their course is actually a artise grooming thing, not to forget that M5 is an artise management company more than a music school.

i think you shld not be confused vocal lesson and artist grooming course.

you shld consider which way you prefer it to be lah...you just want to learn sing or work towards becoming an aritst in the industry.

oh ya! also ask them if they have any trial course...LOL you that you'll know if the school/course/instructor is suitable for you or not.

all the best~ =]

usually auditions are to see where are your standard at lor, so as to put you into a suitable level in the course.

but for 'artist grooming' course...i think is a little bit different. i guess they will look for that 'star-factor' in you more than just how well you can sing.

erm, just FYI lah. (im being kaypoh >.<)

it is not the school. it is the teacher. make sure u have a good teacher. i happen to noe a great vocal coach who teaches chinese pop singing. PM me for contact if u wan.

really hor.. hobby nowadays difficult to upkeep.. hahaha

Hi!
Don't know if you still need this, but Li Fei Hui lao shi runs Focus Music.
You have to go through an audition first to see if you belong to basic vocal or Artiste Development Programme.
Fei Hui lao shi does not teach the basic vocal class; instead it's his student who teaches the class.
Lessons are on every week, $180 a month for basic vocal.
$240 a month for ADP.

You can call the school at 6438 1256 or email them at enquiries@focusmusic.com.sg
