A group of 100 seniors and youth surprising shoppers and commuters with a flash mob at Jurong Point Shopping Centre. This event is organised by YAH! Community College, featured seniors from its lifelong learning course and students from Republic Polytechnic.
"I LOVE SENIORS" features a series of campaign that aims change the way society thinks about ageing and recognizes the uniqueness and dignity of every older person. We believe that when the society adopts a creative and proactive approach, we will have the greatest chance of realizing the potential benefits of the ageing population.
Our first social media campaign, "when you are old", wants to encourage members of the public to write personal messages to the elders in their lives. We want to remember the impacts seniors have created in our lives and to document those memories."
