Greetings from Outreach Management & Celebration Committee NDP 2011
1. The Sing the NDP Songs Competition 2011 is the 3rd in the series of competition to be launched as part of the Outreach Celebrations effort.
In celebration of the Nation’s 46 years of progress, the competition provides a platform for Singaporeans to express their sense of nationhood and identity by singing the NDP Songs with performance.
2. Please note that a team must consist minimally 2 to a maximum of 40 participants. The age categories are as follow 1) CAT A: 12 years and below 2) CAT B: 13 to 18 years old and 3) CAT C: 19 and above. Each team will sing a total of 2 NDP songs of which 1 is a NDP 11 new song. Each team is also to send in the application form [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]via fax to Sing [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]the[/FONT][FONT=Arial, sans-serif] NDP Songs Competition 2011 (fax number 67965469) [/FONT][FONT=Arial, sans-serif]or[/FONT][FONT=Arial, sans-serif] post to[/FONT][FONT=Arial, sans-serif]Sing the NDP Songs Competition 2011, AFPN 1674, 430 SUNGEI GEDONG ROAD, S(718916)[/FONT][FONT=Arial, sans-serif].[/FONT][/FONT] After the application form is processed, the team will receive the Sing the NDP Songs Competition 2011 CD containing only the NDP 11 new songs.
3. A preliminary judging will be conducted through the submitted video entries, thereafter 5 teams from each category will be selected to participate in the finals which will be held in Singapore Discovery Centre in end July 11
4. There will be 2 winning teams from each category and they will receive NDP preview tickets. Besides the afore-mentioned, if an entry is chosen as a winning entry in the Competition, the team might be featured in upcoming NDP road shows.
