I second that.. partly. A7X used to be metalcore during Waking the Fallen. But after City of Evil, they are somewhere near hard rock, though it's quite impossible to correctly classify them under any genre. A7X's influenced by some heavy metal bands though, like Iron Maiden.

no one is criticizing a7x bro. i think ppl who listen to a7x n go around saying 'im a metalhead, i listen to a7x' should realise that a7x is not actually a metal band but a hard rock band. MTV has blinded the youth, genres have been mixed up just cos band on mtv claim they are 'punk rock' or 'metal' just to sell their albums. its quite dumb if u ask me. and again im saying, im not criticizing any band or any genre, im just want ppl to noe the truth abt such bands so they are not blinded by the bullshit on mtv.
