Silverchair fans?

Hey,

Just wondering if theres any silverchair fans here, and if any bands covering their stuff. They're really awesome man. and i really love their Young Modern album. its one of those albums where i really enjoy all the songs. And the song "Emotion sickness" is really awesome.(that one's from their Neon Ballroom btw) but yeah they have soo many awesome songs man. Ana's song, Israel's son, Suicidal dreams, Miss you love, Black tangled heart, Point of view and Greatest view are some of my other favourites. And they have and album coming out this year too. really looking forward to it.

oh and maybe we could all get together and have a silverchair jam session or smth. that would be awesome man.

their sound has change over time but i still love em.

went to perth a few years back to catch them during their across the night tour.
freaking awesome band live. even have their making of diorama dvd and live from faraway stables dvd.

the recording studio video of neon ballroom was the reason why I was inspired to go into audiorecording in the first place. changed my life and me being here in soft forum today.otherwise.. I'll be on hardwarezone.com forum. computer geek lol.

There were hints of awesomeness beginning to shine with the release of Neon Ballroom, and by the time they reached Young Modern, they were certified AMAZING. Young Modern is one of my favourite albums ever. It's pretty startling to track their progression from the angsty Cobain-wannabe grunge period of Frog Stomp all the way to Young Modern. They have matured wonderfully as musicians. Fantastic band.

Been listening to them since primary school. Only started to listen to them back again recently. Most of the stuff from Frogstomp is just awesome. Emotion Sickness, Tomorrow, Without You, Suicidal Dream and Shade are a few of my favourites

Man you're so lucky to have sene them live. I wish they'd come to singapore man.

And yeah i the way they changed from now to then.. super awesome. Young Modern sounds so optimistic. Really makes me happy when i listen to them. This is what music is all about man...

I think theres this band i know, who still plays Those grunge kinda thingy and still covering Silverchair and some Nirvana stuff.. and their quite at young age..
i guess their ard teens? 18? 19? lol, they could be the new silverchair eh?

I think their band is call Azzura, i saw their post video at soft.

yeah they're one of my favourite bands. favourite album of all time is definitely Neon Ballroom for me. they are great musicians no doubt and Daniel is a really good songwriter.
