Shout out to all CU24-rists

for me, the one that really did it for me was the Stan Hinelsey legacy and scorpion on Daniel Sassoon's PRS....that one just kills! Articulate, woody, very diggable and wide open with a focused attitude... i find most of the other booteek brands just have wayy too much mids that gets in the way sometimes....IMO

lol.. my friends, mayhaps it's time we get together and coil our own magnets. (if only anyone of us had HALF the proficiency of the guys who do it right like at bareknuckles' and lindys').
right about now, i'm kinda leaning towards getting a pair of calibrated cold sweats.

sigh.. but it really is easier said than done isnt it? i mean it's really hard to know how the body would react to the electronics considering PRS owners arent widely known for post production customizations. RAH.

its just a set of pickups bro, u arent taking a hacksaw or anything to it. i used to own a ce24 and i even made my own pickup rings so i could try single coils or should i say vert stack singles in the form of kinman pickups, was alot of fun and the 'singles' breathed new life into my prs for a while, then i moved on to suhr guitars and pickups. heres some images of the stuff i did. cut the stuff outta acrylic and spray painted it black, in fact i still have the stuff if any of u guys wanna experiment, just drop me a pm.

Way'da be creative my man. thats really something. unfortunately, i'm a total humbucker head.

Am honestly thinking of going for a pair of bareknuckle cold sweats. was looking for sound samples on youtube (where else? lol) but seems like everyone on youtube who decided on the cold sweats play overly driven sounds. anyone out there with calibrated cold sweats? would like a description of the tones you get with clean drives/boosts..

cheers.
