Hey guys!

Was just wondering if i should repair my MG15CDR. Occasionally it will have drops in volume, prolly something loose in the circuitry or smth.

Thinking of selling it to finally get something better than i can gig/record with, but wondering if repairing it would be cheap enough so that i can actually sell it proper, and that the repair would even be cheaper than what i can sell this cheap amp for.. Or i could always do with a footstool. haha

Thanks!
Daniel

Depends on you. If you got cash and want to invest, by all means go ahead. If you're cash-strapped, i suggest just selling to karang-guni man, repairing ain't worth it.

if the problem isnt that bad i would rather you just sell it off instead of repairing it :)
usually repair cost isnt pleasant

To me, with the large number of choices for practice/small gig amps out there with great prices, I don't think repairing a MG15CDR of all amps would be worth it. Maybe if you have a vintage AC4 or something. IMO, I'd say go try out something else :). Time to upgrade maybe?

Daniel, I have this very old small amp also like that and almost gave up...
But I itchy finger go try push push the main switch, then it work back like normal
Mine is transparent like button got light inside, dunno if anything loose maybe I get a new switch..

:p

best bet if u cant diy: sell it off. repairing that amp may cost more than the amt u pay for it. or u could add that to ur furniture :)
