Should I change the pickups ofnansignature series guitar?

The guitar in question would be and epiphone 97' slash snakepit model.
Would it be a good move to upgrade its stock pickups to a better one?
Its going to be used once a fortnight type of situation and mainly serves as a collecters item.

Since you mentioned "collector's item", then the answer is 'no'.

me thinks change them to suit your preference (if necessary) but don't sell the stock pickups.
