While you might not be v updated, there's always something called Google.
We have interviewed and reviewed several acts for our web-zine. You can run through the archive and see what music interests you. If not, you can always check out Roxy Records which carries more than 20 titles and the newly open Earshot Cafe at the Arts House.

I went to ur site..interesting! I guess i was tryin to find those bands that dont sell their albums at cd stores, for example.. UnXpected..etc etc... yeah but de prob is I dunno the bands and if they hv got an album that kinda so hopefully u can recommend me some as well.. thanks for replying the info was great as well, going to roxy tomolo to chk it out!

If you are looking for hardcore bands, you can try Straits Records at Haji Lane which is near Sultan Mosque. I believe they carry quite a couple of hardcore bands, local and foreign. Clairvoyant Records and La Vanita support Singapore metal. They are both housed in the shopping centre next to Excelsior Hotel.
I'm not too sure about this band UnXpected. If it's a hardcore/ punk band, you can try your luck posting your search on LionCityDIY forum. Great site too!

Hehe, I knew abt UnXpected coz I am a frd of theirs and I follow them ard to hlp promote their album, so if u see a cd seller somewhr out thr when UnXpected is performing, tts me..hehe :lol:

Yup, I do have a band but it ain't worth mentioning... and anyway, we don't have any albums as yet. But thanks for asking...
I heard Tiramisu is tracking at Snakeweed. That's gotta be good! And B-Quartet's debut EP, The Smitten Bard? Hold onto your pants... If all goes well, we should see it in the streets in a mth's time... And it'll definitely be cheaper than beer at Wala Wala's! :lol:

anyway..if you like b-quartet..they're performing at baybeats as well..and after hours or smth at the esplanade...

Peepz here are really nice! Erm, why interest all of a sudden, well... actually I am quite supportive of local bands all these while but I haven got enuff time to get to noe more bands or go to local gigs, thats why i say I am very backdated..but thanks thankss alot peepz! Really appreciate it!
