im workin with a budget of 350~500. at the price range i wanna get a SG shaped guitar. which brand do u tink is the best.. hopefully within my budget.. or if anyone here sellin it seond hand.. i dun mind..

go to guitar connection, they've still got the Greco SG, think about ur budget one. 2nd hand. also the aria SG. hope this helps...cheers

you can try yamaha SG200
i own one myself, its around 20 years old and still plays like a dream

it costed around $200+ 20 years ago, i dunno how much it costs now

its a set neck, but i dunno what wood it is

For that price can get Epiphone SG from Davis ... it's 400+

the new epiphone SGs suck cos they're made in China. believe me, i've got a fren who has that guitar and he's beginning to think that SG stands for Shot Gun.

apart from the warped neck, u can't reach the high frets because the neck is slotted in further than the real Gibson SG.

get the 2nd hand one in guitar77 made in korea. exact replica of the Gibson. it's onli $400. of much better quality.

the main problem with China Epi's is probably lack of consistency in quality? i've heard alot of crap about it but i have a 2003 China Epi SG, reasonably happy with it. gota get ur hands on em and try to know la.

all LTD guitars i've played are of good quality, never have i come across a bad one, but maybe im just lucky

I remember the ESP SGs were freaking ex like siao .... but LTD i think quite cheap leh .... Like 300 - 400 range ....

depends on the LTD SG model

the model with the biggest number is top of the line, followed by mid-range then low-end range etc (but still the quality is very good for the price)

i dunno how davis calculate the price and stuff. I got my EX400BD for $SG1350, but by right, $US949 = $SG1500+...so i guess its a discount? i dunno

Try the Epi Goth SGs - I got one for about $520 at swee lee, with a bag. It's pretty good, love the sound of the neck pickup.
