Hi middleman,
I recently did this mod upgrade from my Tokai LS-92 stock pickups.
The JB is high output, while the Jazz is moderate output.
I must say that the Jazz and JB sound killer, and I also did the split coil with push-pull pots.
For the neck pickup, the split coil sounds almost acoustic (which I like). The JB split sounds a bit like telecaster bridge position.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with my mod.

You can try the 'Vintage Blues' set: Dual SD '59s. Don't let the name and output fool you though, 59's are really versatile as far as pickups go.
