I bet if any tech charges $20 for a setup, he would have a ton of customers! And he would be so shortchanged I'd pity him.

its always good to tinker around with your guitars!

i've always done my own setups. thanks to the internet, i've read through some stuff regarding setups on basses. taking basses apart are really fun too.

now if i had the tools and equipment for a refret, i'll do that as well...

I agree with ShredCow, Ibanez guitars do rule............errrrr...........more than ESP or Epiphone? Well i agree that these brands do make good stuff but Epiphone...................errrrrrrrrrr..............can't comment lah. Maybe we shld set up an 'All Guitars Rule!' website huh huh? Then we jus bitch abt this-that abt all guitars. Haha 8)

Hi there,

Would first like to clarify that it is more costly to set up floyd rose guitars as there are more work that needs to be done (e.g. making sure the bridge is levelled, adjusting spring tension etc etc), hence this takes more time and effort. Those who uses the floyd rose (including myself) knows it's a chore to set it up.

Hence there is a price difference for setting up different kinds of guitars. This is why usually we quote $40 onwards, depending on what kind of guitar and how much work we need to spend working on it.

Jqiang, I'm glad u gave us a call and I hope you are happier with ur set up now. Please feel free to give us a call should you have any problems with your guitar.
