Setting up my guitar

two months ago i purchased an ibanez Pf20tv from you guys.
And after playing it for awhile i realised that the action on the guitar is very high.

May i ask you guys if you could help me lower the action on my guitar
and how much will it cost?

I think they do not charge as long as you keep your receipt which is under guarantee for a year.

set up

Any1 noes where to go to set up my guitar? cause mine the action seems to be high and is still under warrenty. i bought mine at bras pasar. so which outlet do i go?

Sims Drive has the Guitar Service Centre thingy..
But honestly, I don't think they do set ups.. Maybe can call and double check with them..
Best is to go Look For Beez or Standard Value for quick, efficient set ups if Swee Lee won't do it..

They do set up at Swee Lee. I got my electric and acoustic guitars setted up by them. After setted up, I am still not satisfied. After that I brought my electric to Mike at Standard Value and acoustic to Beez. I would say the results are different. They are more professional compared to the set up at Swee Lee esp at Sims Drive. The person there simply do not care about your guitars. My 2 day old acoustic guitar was setted up there. When I went to collect, to my horror, the back of the neck was scratched like it was being played by a cat. I was so angry that I demanded an explanation but the Malay man who set up my guitar refused to admit that it was his mistake. So, I brought the guitar up to the showroom upstairs to the person I bought the guitar from, to ask for an exchange which he did after seeing the damage done. Enough of their poor setting up of guitars, I brought it to Beez. This guy is fantastic and a good guy to talk to. He even taught and explained things to me.

I also brought my electric guitar back to Swee Lee at Bras Brasah to set up the Floyd Rose. They said first time, no charges and need to leave my guitar there for 4 days. After setted up, I still find it not up to playing standard. So I brought it to Mike at Standard Value. After viewing the guitar, he told me that the Floyd Rose was badly setted up. In the end, I paid $50 for him to set up nicely and I am greatly satisfied with the setup.

So, one word of advice. Bring your beloved guitars to professional guitar tech. They will set up on the spot (unless they are busy) and even show you how to do it. I would recommend you to look for Beez with 20 over years of experience. You will realise the difference in terms of services and playability. Beez's Site or call him 97732633 .

True.. Its cause of their rough tables according to Beez..
My SG's backplate was mutilated by them.. So go to Beez or Mike if you love your guitar! :mrgreen:
