I'm in the process of setting up a jam studio and I have some problems with the drums.
First off, it is a rectangular room and the drum is in one corner. The room has a high ceiling.
When I play on the drums, it is very deafening.
What is the best way to do sound absorption in the room to ensure my drums don't burst?
I have access to some acoustic foam ( limited number ) Where should I place the foam?
Should I get heavy felt curtains ?
I do have some rock wool as well.
Any help is very much appreciated.
