Hehe ur rite bro but da thing is most pple like 2 test and feel da guitar b4 buyin... so dats da prob.....

actually i've never really met much problem at guitar shops...
but if ppl ever give trouble( i've experienced it elsewhere)
ignore em... dont even look at em... do whatever you please.
COS THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT... just dont give those ppl a hard time.. they're working too. don't want that happening to you right?

i would say the customer always has the rights reather than he is always right. i mean, there will be d*ckhead customers for sure.

but dun judge them straight away la. got no basis what.

as regards to the testing for feel. i doubt anyone of you here will be willing to pay 3-4k for a guitar, only to find out later that you dun like it and wish you hadnt spent the money.

funny thing is, sweelee actually allowed me to test the guitar that was gong for 6k without question, while this bugger whose guitar most likely would be worth half of it or less(i could be wrong, but i highly doubt that) will only let me try it if i want to buy it. whats the diff with that and not being able to test?

actually swee lee's service is improving. they are moving along well.
i can tell you ,sl service rox...i gt all my equippment there n i made frens wit a guy there..his name is kalai..he is the nicest guy there....

hah. GC? heh. u went to the wrong shop dude. NEVER GO IN THERE ANYMORE. the service there is ZERO. they treat me like SH!T. and i won't mention his name here, cos it's so damn obvious.

Regardless of any shop and its reputation, they have to be aware that they have to provide good service to their customers, whether its just testing the guitar or purchasing one.If they are gonna provide s***** service, then they will lose customers eventually and business goes down

but.. G.C people very nice to me.. i think he is in bad mood that day.

a shopkeeper must treat all customer the same. Not only those customer he knows well.

Anyway... if only GC wants to improve their service, it will much easier to grow as big as and as fast as its neighbour

well... think the problem in singapore is not many dealers around. like.. .if you want to buy a PRS... where else can you go?

in america, thousands of shops out there, so service naturally very good. they even set up your guitar FOC w/o you asking for it.

ai ya... so many of these threads. just grow thicker skin la.

and bad service = u will never feel pai seh if you try out something for damn long, ask hell lot questions, but in the end never buy

Sounds like GC but it can't be... I know Kelvin well and I consider him to be my personal guitar luthier. I've had nothing but excellent service from him since the day I stepped into his small humble shop. Once I held him back for at least a good one hour after his closing time and even then he was very friendly.

Lousy service is the people at SL, Davis and G77. End of story.

kelvin rawks. hes the only luthier whom i send my guitar for fixing. And dude im 16, i go there in school uniform sometimes, and i get fair service. Hes doing a 1 man job and like, hes always damn stressed, cuz hes the only person, and he has to manage all the stuff.

He sometimes is really very busy, and cannot give u like the quality smile and "ooh let me help you" cuz he just has too much on his hands. Anyway, i find Kelvin a really nice chap, really helpful and friendly.

So like, lick my balls.
