Hi

..is the guy manning the shop really interested in selling the guitars ??

Asked him a question what's the difference between the two type of pickups installed in their acoustic...he said " The expensive one better lor " No description on the specs and stuff.
Half of the time he was more interested in his food or smsing on his handphone.

The same thing when I asked which are the better guitars...just pointing to one of the guitar from far," that one.." then looked away..

C'mon, I noe I was dressed only in T-shirt and jeans but I can afford the guitars.

Seriously, I was amazed wif the quality of Maestro guitars (the $600 ones sounded more like $1500 guitars). But this guy's attitude really turned me off.

I hope the Maestro guys can improve on their customer-relation skills and take this feedback as a positive one. I sincerely apologised if I sounded rude.

haha that is,to me, e most polite sounding complain here at soft!

no la.. i think u entered e shop during his meal time rite? haha.. imagine if you are hungry will you still be so helpful on those services? haha.. spare him la.. i know teck well.. he is a good salesman but like all man, a hungry man is an angry man! you are lucky that his food is already there! haha..

Hi Union,

I really regret your unhappy experience you had at our Excelsior Outlet; we sincerely apologize for any distress that had been caused. Your support towards Maestro Guitars is very much appreciated and we will definitely reflect on this. Sometimes however we do seek understanding from our dearest customers as bad days do occur to us.

We will definitely not discriminate customers base on their dressing, race or religion. Never!!!

As for the pickup, we are offering 3 options:

B-Band A1 UST:
For peeps who just want a plug-in without all the control fuss

B-Band A3.2 UST:
For peeps who want more control in their EQ system with Under Saddle Pickup

B-Band A2.2 UST/AST:
The best B-Band has to offer with a dual source mix between the Sound Board Pickup and the Under Saddle. Most natural sounding.

You should choose the pickup base on your budget and on-stage performance needs. You can also try out all the pickups at the store and see which one you like :D

actually the guy there can be pretty cold, i wouldn't call him an ass yet, but he could try to be more engaging. at least he isn't full out unpleasant. I don't think it's just during the mealtimes.

Hi Iloveguitars

Thanx for ur prompt reply and the infos on the pickups. Really looking forward to go there again.

As waht bboy2388, that's what I felt abt the sales guy...can be a bit cold and not engaging. Just improve a bit on that part...

Thanx once again.

On another note, the staff there have been very nice to me, despite me going there so often without buying any guitars! Michael and Hozen (the boss) have really gone all out in terms of customer service. I feel really welcomed, at the same time, I feel really comfortable giving honest opinions on the guitars and how it can be further improved. Give them another chance, he was probably having a bad day.

PS. I'll get the Torres model very soon, or maybe even the newer ones mentioned some time ago. No news of it yet, hope to try them as soon as they're available so that I can decided whether I'm willing to spend the extra cash on the higher end models.

very NICE? lol, seriously that salesman was a complete ass..

i bought a maestro sd3 that day and he thinks im some pariah...

really? i thought the service was pretty good. i mean, that guy didn't bother my friends & i that much, unless we wanted to know something & asked him. :) he let us try out the acoustics, even the blueridge ones which are awesome & kinda ex.

showed some basic knowledge of the acoustic guitars we wanted to buy & was actually quite friendly and helpful. haha. in the end, we bought 3 maestro ED-2s (i think it's this model, anw).

and though we put the guitars back on the wrong stands & messed up the tags, he was fine. whew.
