Jim riley uses his snare drum in Rascal flatts recording and live shows
The Riley signature snare boasts a 1.5mm stainless steel shell that produces plenty of projection and snap, while its 8"-depth lends the balanced warmth of a wood drum. Ornamented with a laser-engraving that is true to Riley's roots, the snare drum's visual brilliance is complemented by black nickel tube lugs and die-cast hoops.

A 14 x 8 snare fits the snare stand's height perfectly even for smaller size ppl, This 14 x 8 is crisp, medium volume and has a wide tuning range, It is not loud at all
