This is the 2014 edition of the Gibson Les Paul Traditional which makes it quite different from other traditionals,
- 120th Anniversary emblem on 12th fret
- uses 59 Tribute pickups. The 59 tributes are the best of both worlds between the 57 classics and the burstbuckers offering a very warm and powerful sound BUT retaining clarity and tone.
- ZERO WEIGHT RELIEF! Normally all guitars, even traditional ones have some level of weight relief. Traditional guitars typically use the 9 hole weight relief. This guitar has none of that, offering a full solid mahogany body. This means much richer and fuller tone due the heavier body for increased resonance.
