Any1 can help me w/ this?

If i run my OD pedal with a slightly overdriven amp

What can i use to switch from that setting to say a

Clean w/ chorus pedal

Should i b using an a/b selector or sumtink else??

Help?? Thanx

correct me if im wrong, you run your od into an amp which you already set to a slight overdrive, in that case.

you'd need a footswitch for your amp (either to off the effect, or switch to a clean channel) and just switch effects by stomping the od off and turning the chorus on. using an a/b box for such a thing is a slightly over priced option for a quick tapdance on your board, unless youre planning on using two long effects chains. or some other chim-mer setting.

i was kinda hoping 4 a more direct approach in the setup

rather than having to switch the od or chorus on/off

but yeah thanx

not too sure bout footswitches though

any in particular?

woo, then im not too sure if thats footswitchable, im doubting so.

i need some clarification from other softies on that point. but i'd say leave your amp on clean, and use the od to provide all the drive, at least at this moment. until you get a footswitchable amp.

But bro... If you only have 2 pedals... Buying a AB box is gonna be quite a under-used. Unless like mark said... You have 2 different set of effects...

haha if ur not sure then i'm sure its not footswitchable

at least now i know the A/B wont b necessary

juz that my pedal the JH-1 lacks the gain that i need when used by itself

nopez

its a 15 watt amp w/ simple knobs

e usual stuff gain/mid/high/low

3 inputs

guitar/cd/headphone

thats it

MG15CDR is a very small amp... The only inputs are... Guitar in and CD in... And a headphone output... I got its predecessor the G15RCD... Don't think Marshall made any footswitch variant for the 15CDR series...

in the first place i didnt even know that u needed a footswitchable channel

i tot the A/B could be plugged in and hey presto

u can switch btw clean/od without manually flicking the switch on the amp

ok then final decision

purchase new FOOTSWITCHABLE amp

thanx 4 all ur love & support guys

appreciate e help
